1. Introduction

HardMoney.com is a service operated by Event Media 770 Corp. (“HardMoney.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We provide an educational website and an artificial-intelligence (“AI”) assistant that explain how hard-money and private real-estate financing work. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use HardMoney.com (the “Service”), how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Use.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us:

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Subscription and billing information. When you purchase a paid plan, your payment is processed by our payment provider and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment details (such as your card or payment-method information). We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. We receive limited transaction information such as your plan, billing status, and subscription identifiers.
• Content you submit to the AI. We collect the questions, messages, deal details, figures, and other content you enter into the AI assistant, together with the responses, analyses, and any lender-ready summary or other document generated for you (“Chat Content”). Please do not submit sensitive personal information you do not want processed as described in this Policy.
• Documents you upload. If you upload a document or image for the assistant to review, we process it only to generate your response. Uploaded files are handled transiently and are not stored on our servers after your request is completed; the file is transmitted to our AI provider to produce the answer, as described in Section 4. Only upload documents you have the right to share, and avoid uploading sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers or account numbers) or another person’s information without authorization.
• Communications. If you contact us for support or otherwise, we collect the information you provide in those communications.

Information we collect automatically:

• Usage and metering data. We collect information about how you use the Service, including the number of AI requests you make (used to enforce plan limits), features accessed, pages viewed, and timestamps.
• Device and log data. We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, and similar technical information, and we generate log records when you access the Service.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 5.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including creating and authenticating your account and keeping you signed in;
• Generate AI responses to your questions and deliver the educational features of the Service;
• Process your subscription, apply plan limits and metering, and manage billing through our payment provider;
• Communicate with you about your account, transactions, renewals, and service-related matters, and, where permitted, send you product updates or marketing (which you may opt out of);
• Monitor, secure, and improve the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug and fix problems; and
• Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use your Chat Content to train our own AI models. We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your Chat Content, your deal information, or any summary or document generated for you with lenders, brokers, investors, or other third parties for their own use. Any summary the Service helps you create is provided to you and is yours to share at your own discretion; we do not transmit it to anyone on your behalf.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

• Service providers and processors. We share information with vendors that perform services for us, under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only to provide their services to us. These include:
  • Lemon Squeezy: payment processing and merchant of record (billing and subscriptions);
  • Supabase: database hosting and account authentication;
  • Upstash: rate-limiting and usage metering;
  • OpenAI: our AI provider, which processes your Chat Content solely to generate responses to you;
  • Resend: transactional and service email delivery;
  • Zoho CRM: customer-relationship management and support.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

No sharing with lenders or for others’ marketing. We do not share your Chat Content, deal information, or any summary generated for you with any lender, broker, investor, or other third party for their own purposes, and we do not sell or share your personal information for third-party marketing or cross-context behavioral advertising. Any document the Service helps you create is delivered to you; you decide whether and to whom to present it.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service (for example, an authentication cookie that keeps you securely signed in) and to understand and improve how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; if you disable certain cookies, parts of the Service (including staying signed in) may not function properly.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Chat Content is retained to provide and improve the Service and is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed for these purposes or upon a valid deletion request, subject to legal retention requirements. Documents you upload are processed transiently to generate your response and are not retained on our servers after the request is completed. Any deal summary or analysis generated for you is produced from your Chat Content on request and delivered to you; we do not separately share it with third parties. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS), storage with access controls, and hashing of passwords. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Deletion: request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements;
• Portability: request a copy of certain information in a portable, machine-readable format; and
• Opt out of marketing: unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails or by contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@hardmoney.com. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and Montana, among others, have specific rights under their state privacy laws. These may include the rights to know or access the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, used, and disclosed; to correct or delete personal information; to obtain a portable copy; and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and certain targeted advertising or profiling. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@hardmoney.com; you may use an authorized agent where permitted by law, and you may appeal a decision as provided by your state’s law.

California residents. In addition to the rights above, California law entitles you to request information about our collection and disclosure of your personal information over the preceding 12 months. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly. 11. International Users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.

12. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy with a new Effective Date and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of it.
